Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-03-15
This privacy policy ("Policy") applies to View-IPTV.stream and Sideways Thought LLC ("Company") and governs data collection and usage. Unless otherwise noted, all references to the Company include View-IPTV.stream. The Company's application is a stream playlist viewer and information site. By using the application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
View-IPTV.stream is designed to work without traditional user accounts, but it may still process technical information, browser-stored preferences, analytics data when consent is granted, and information you voluntarily provide through contact or other direct interactions.
Collection of Your Personal Information
The Company may collect anonymous demographic information such as your:
- Age
- Gender
We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily provide it. You may be required to provide certain information when using specific services, for example when registering for an account, entering a contest, signing up for special offers, sending an email, or submitting payment information. We will use your information to communicate with you regarding services or products you request. Additional personal or non-personal information may be gathered in the future.
In addition, the application may process technical data associated with your use of the site, including browser type, device information, approximate location inferred from IP address, referring pages, timestamps, request paths, and similar diagnostic or usage data. This information may be used for site operation, reliability, abuse prevention, analytics, and improvement of the service.
Browser Storage, Cookies, and Similar Technologies
To make the application function properly, the site may use session cookies, security-related tokens, and browser storage features such as localStorage. These technologies may be used to support core functionality, save user preferences, maintain session state, remember privacy choices, and improve the usability of features such as favorites, playlist history, theme selection, and welcome-screen preferences.
Some of these technologies are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the site. Others, such as analytics-related technologies, may be optional depending on your consent choices where applicable.
Analytics and Usage Tracking
The Company uses analytics tracking to better understand how visitors use the site, which pages and features are most helpful, how people arrive at the service, and how the product can be improved. This may include aggregated or pseudonymous information about pageviews, traffic flow, device and browser characteristics, approximate geography, referrals, and on-site engagement.
Where the site presents analytics consent controls, analytics technologies may be loaded based on the choice you make. If you reject optional analytics in a consent flow, the site will attempt not to load those optional analytics technologies through that flow. If you accept them, analytics tracking may be enabled to help us measure and improve the service.
Playlist URLs, Stream Sources, and Technical Operation
The site is intended to let users open playlist URLs and access compatible streams in the browser. In the course of providing that functionality, the application may process playlist URLs, stream endpoints, status checks, request metadata, and related technical information needed to retrieve, validate, display, or troubleshoot playback behavior.
Some requests may be handled directly by your browser, while others may pass through limited first-party infrastructure for functionality, compatibility, security, rate limiting, or abuse prevention. The service is not intended to operate as an open media relay, but technical request handling may occur as part of normal product operation.
Sharing Information With Third Parties
The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
We may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, arrange for deliveries, support infrastructure operations, or otherwise help operate the application. These third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the Company, and they must maintain its confidentiality.
The application may also interact with third-party services that you choose to access or that support the site's operation, such as analytics providers, infrastructure providers, embedded service providers, advertising or monetization partners, and externally hosted stream or playlist sources. These third parties may receive data directly from your browser or through service interactions, subject to their own privacy practices.
The Company may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, protect and defend the rights or property of the Company, or act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public.
Right to Deletion
Upon a verifiable request from you, we will:
- Delete your personal information from our records; and
- Direct service providers to delete your personal information from their records.
We may be unable to comply with a deletion request if it is necessary to:
- Complete a transaction or perform a contract with you;
- Detect security incidents or protect against malicious activity;
- Debug to identify and repair errors;
- Exercise or ensure the right of free speech;
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act;
- Conduct public or peer-reviewed research in the public interest when deletion would render the research impossible or seriously impair it;
- Enable solely internal uses aligned with your expectations;
- Comply with a legal obligation; or
- Otherwise use the information internally in a lawful manner compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Your Choices
- You may choose whether to accept or reject optional analytics technologies where those controls are presented.
- You may clear browser storage to remove locally stored items such as favorites, history, theme settings, and consent choices from your own device.
- You may choose not to submit information through contact forms, email, or other voluntary interactions.
Children Under 13
The Company does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application.
Changes to This Statement
The Company reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time — for example, when services, product features, monetization methods, or legal requirements change. When changes are significant, we will inform you, such as by emailing the address on your account or placing a prominent notice on our site. Your continued use of the application after such modifications constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to the modified Policy.
